Tomorrow Night: Bird on the High Line

bird

Tomorrow night,  September 10, join us on the High Line for a free screening of photographer Andrew Zuckerman’s new film project, “Bird.”

The short film will be projected, in a repeating loop, on a 11′ x 20′ screen in the 14th Street Passage on the High Line. It offers a rare opportunity to see birds separate from their habitats, in their purest form. Shot against white in high definition, the projection brings a modern approach to birdwatching in an urban environment.

The High Line will remain open for one additional hour, until 11:00 PM, for this program.

Thursday, September 10, 7:00 – 11:00 PM
14th Street Passage, on the High Line

The Abstract Line

While the High Line may look pretty cool from far away, it seems it looks just as good up close and personal. Adrian Gaut, a photographer whose work has been featured in the likes of GQ, recently turned his lens on the High Line and came away with some beautiful abstract shots. For a quick game, see if you can find where on the High Line each of these shots was taken!
